For those of you who’ve been following, there was an election on April 2, and here in Cudahy I was a candidate for alderman. Due to the small margin of victory for my opponent (only 10 votes), a recount was held earlier today. After all the ballots were recounted, that margin held true.
Now that the election is officially over, I’d like to congratulate my opponent Randy Hollenbeck on his victory. Obviously I’m disappointed in the result, but I’m going to continue to do my part to make Cudahy an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
From what I’ve heard it was a good hard fought battle. Congrats to Ald elect Hollenbeck and to you for being willing to put yourself out there.
