County Board fires Milwaukee County’s Corporation Counsel without debate

And they couldn’t even be bothered to have a debate before the fired Kim Walker…

The Milwaukee County Board on Thursday voted to fire county Corporation Counsel Kimberly Walker, but gave a one-month reprieve to another appointee of County Executive Chris Abele.

The board voted 13-5 on the Walker firing and did not debate it.

Apparently County Board Chair Marina Dimitrijevic and State Senate President Mike Ellis have something in common – neither seem to be a big fans of debates before votes.
