Come on, Mouldy: do the right thing!

Odds are that State Senator Terry Moulton. ( R-Chippewa Falls) won’t have either the courage or integrity to stand up to his party’s leaders and vote against the budget today, but it won’t be for lack of encouragement from his constituents.

On Monday, June 17th,  30 people gathered across from Moulton’s business in Chippewa Falls, Mouldy’s Archery and Tackle,  to urge Moulton to stand by his word and say yes to expanding Badgercare and no to school vouchers.   At an Elk Mound listening session on May 20th, Moulton told a couple of dozen of his constituents that he unequivocally supported accepting federal dollars to expand Badgercare, saying that it was the fiscally responsible thing to do, and that he opposed school vouchers.

And on Tuesday night,  June 18th, the Eau Claire County board of supervisors voted 20 to 7 to adopt a resolution calling on the state to accept the federal dollars so that more than 80,000 working parents can keep their Badgercare.  It’s worth noting that eight townships in Eau Claire County are within the 23rd Senate district, which Moulton represents.

So, come on Mouldy! When you thought no one was looking you told your constituents what you really thought about expanding Badgercare and opposing school vouchers. You’ve been backpedaling ever since. Is a tough guy like you really afraid of guys like Walker and Scott Fitzgerald?

Say it ain’t so Mouldy!

  1. Mouldy is a Koch Sucker just like the rest. Don’t hold your breath folks

  2. Moulton had his chance to put his
money where his mouth was tonight. He voted NO on Medicaid expansion, after saying he’d vote yes. Make the wimp pay in 2014
