Yesterday would have been John Lennon’s 73rd birthday and my favorite disc jockey on my favorite radio station was featuring a lot of John Lennon today. “Run For Your Life” was the last song he played on his show. It is also the last song on The Beatles’ “Rubber Soul” album. When I was 15 this was an awesome song…well musically it still is…but at 63 I see it as just a wee bit sexist…and it’s a bit of a let down that I didn’t see that until this afternoon.
