Thank you.

Veterans of this country deserve our thanks that they were willing to fight for and ultimately give the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the freedoms that we have developed in this country since the Declaration of Independence was written signed and stamped to King George in 1776.

It is sad and a cruel thing that war and violence exists, but those willing to be brave enough and stand up against the injustices of the world are, in my book, those that should be regarded with the utmost respect.

Today I thank my Great Grandfather, Lee, my Grandpa, Tony, my Uncle Randy, and my Stepbrother Seth for their service to this country I am so proud to call home.

On that note I would also like to thank you, the readers for following my blog over the last two months while we’ve talked about fewer issues than I had anticipated, I am glad that they are being talked about.

I am announcing my leave from the blogosphere for the foreseeable future. I have accepted a position on a campaign and am excited to direct my efforts to helping Jon Richards become the next Wisconsin Attorney General!

I bid you a very fond farewell and perhaps we will come across one another on the campaign trail!

  1. Wish you and Jon all the best Dustin.

And here would like to give a shout out to my great, great, great, great grandfather who was honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution for “firing the first shot at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse”. in North Carolina March 18, 1778.

And my maternal great, great, great, great grandfather, also honored, for leading a band of farmer volunteers against the oppressive Colonial governor at the battle of Alamance in 1771.

God bless those who have fought for American liberty, justice and freedom ever since.
