Ron Johnson: Our Useless Senator

What did Republican Sen. Ron Johnson do to earn his $174,000 salary in 2013?

Well, according to his report card on govtrack.us, not a whole heck of a lot.

Let’s take a look at some of the high lowlights from 2013 for Sen. Johnson:

  • Sen. Johnson introduced just 3 bills and resolutions in 2013.
  • Sen. Johnson introduced ZERO bills and resolutions in 2013 that got a committee vote sending it to the floor for further consideration.
  • Sen. Johnson introduced 0 bills that became law in 2013.

Sen. Johnson put forth very little effort for his $174,000 salary in 2013, with his only real “accomplishment” being the lawsuit he filed against ObamaCare, a lawsuit that was called “an unfortunate political stunt” by Republican Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner.

Personally, I’d like my money back from Sen. Johnson, because he’s done very little to earn that six-figure taxpayer-funded salary.

    1. Agreed. I think it’s an absolute farce that Sen. Johnson wrested the seat away from Sen. Feingold, who by all accounts worked very hard on behalf of Wisconsinites during his time in the Senate.

  1. I think it is disgusting and disgraceful how our State senator completely ignores the wishes of his constituents and pursues his own personal and lobbyist agenda without any regard for the people he is suppose to represent regardless whether his core values are conservative or linberal he has a job to do for all of his constituents!!! FED UP!! One Term Johnson!!!
