Blogging Blue’s “Fourteen in ’14”

Every year we here at Blogging Blue raise a little bit of money for our favorite candidates for elected office, and this year is no different.

However, what is different this year is that we’re going to let you help choose the candidates we’ll be raising money for. so take a minute to comment and tell us which candidate(s) you’d like to see us raise money for.

Here’s a few of my favorite candidates:

  • Rob Zerban
  • Christine Sinicki
  • Penny Bernard Schaber
  • Janis Ringhand

  1. Burke was in Eau Claire yesterday and actually got her picture in the local rag. According to her Q&A with all the Democrats at the Dem Center, she wants to win and thinks she will win! But she’s not counting on just her money; In fact, she pleaded hard for a $10 a month commitment from each of us. So I say faithfully, put Ms. Burke on your list.
Ms. Burke made a lot of good points for her Democratic run for governor but none of them were featured in the paper with her picture. Hopefully, she gets her publicist some help.

    1. Kelly Westlund is an excellent choice. It’s about time to replace “…my worst Congressman ever” with someone with integrity and courage.

  2. Kelly Westlund and Rob Zerban- Both are great candidates running against the two worst Congressmen in the state.

I’d rather have Andy Jorgensen than Ringhand in the Senate, but both are good candidates (so I’d say support neither till post -primary).

Schaber, Bewley and Vinehout are great Senate candidates, Ernie Wittwer is a good one to support for a pickup (and to destroy Bagger Howard Marklein).

Lastly, support anyone who runs against ALEC Vukmir, and we should also help Martha Laning, who’s running in a closer-than-you’d-think district in Manitowoc and Sheboygan against Joe Lei-bham, who’s supported every bad TeaBag bill this Legislature has put together.

A few bucks to the ADCC can’t hurt, as there should be quite a few seats able to be grabbed back from Robbin’ Vos.
