Scott Walker cashes in on lackluster book sales

This just makes me smile.

According to one knowledgeable source, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker received an even larger advance than Pawlenty’s, and Bookscan has his 2013 book Unintimidated selling around 16,000 copies.

According to the report by Buzzfeed, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty was paid a $340,000 advance for his book, so if Gov. Walker received an even larger advance than the $340,000 Pawlenty received, he made a mint for some spectacularly lackluster book sales.

  1. Just a few comments:

Would “Unintelligible” have been a more appropriate title?

It seems that some book publishers have a weakness for “fairy tales.”

Maybe the Koch brothers will buy the excess production, claiming it as a charitable contribution on their tax return.

I’m glad to see the paper back edition will be out soon. They will be easier to burn than the hard cover version bought by the faithful GOP suckers.

Will public libraries list “Unintimidated” under “Fiction” or “Humor” or will a new classification, “Prevarication,” be issued by librarians?

    Snake oil, anyone?
