Randy Bryce Announces Candidacy for 21st State Senate District

From the cloud comes news about a friend of ours:

MADISON – Today, active community member, veteran, and father Randy Bryce announced his candidacy for the 21st State Senate District in Wisconsin. A local ironworker, Randy is running to stop the partisan games, attacks on veterans and job creation failures in Madison.

“I have always put my community first,” said Bryce, “After the partisan games of the last sessions allowed partisan redistricting, attacks on veterans and a job creation failures, I knew I had to stand up for the community that I love.

“It is time to stop the single-party rule in Madison that jammed through countless pieces of harmful legislation without regard for the impacts on our communities. From making it harder for veterans to obtain compensation when dying from service-caused mesothelioma to the failure to keep up with our neighboring states in job creation, our community deserves better. I am running to give the 21st State Senate District the representation it deserves.”

Randy is a born and raised Wisconsinite with deep roots across southeastern Wisconsin. From serving in the US Army to helping homeless veterans find work to building southeastern Wisconsin monuments like Miller Park, Randy has spent his life giving back to his community. Randy is a Caledonia resident, and, has a 7-year-old son, Ben.

This will be a tough election for Mr. Bryce since the district has been heavily gerrymandered in favor of the GOP…certainly one of the reasons that Senator John Lehman is running for Lieutenant Governor!

  1. One door closes, another opens. Randy can win this race. The sad reality is Senator Lehman bailed as soon as the going got tough. He is the incumbent for crying out loud and the Democrat in the best position to win. Too bad he is tied to Tate’s apron strings. Yes, the DPW Chairman only supports the races that they figure they can win. If there ever was a race where the Democrat should have stood and fought, this was it. Instead Lehman and DPW declare the seat lost and head for the hills. This explains in part why the Rs control the state senate. I for one cannot, will not support this defeatist strategy. I tip my hat to Randy Bryce for putting himself out there and doing what Chairman Tate does not have the courage to do: fight to keep the 21st Senate District in Democratic, working class hands.

  2. The Nation needs you. I can send a little check in support of the only American standing up against Russia , the White House and Republican Congress members. I support Apprenticeship Programs 100%, but Trump is all talk and no action. If he had working people Apprenticeship Programs at his businesses then I would believe him . Has he raised his employees insurance and pay?

  3. I am not in your district, however I support your message and wish you much success. It is time for Paul Ryan to go, as he does look like Donald Trumps puppet. I liked your message on CNN tonight. Good luck to you and your family.
