Watch this ad put out by the College Republican National Committee on behalf of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
Now I’m not sure which brain surgeon at the College Republican National Committee thought that an ad talking down to women by comparing their decision on who to vote for to their decision on which wedding dress to pick, but this ad reeks of the kind of tone-deaf sexism that should only serve to alienate women.
This is really creepy.
Agreed, and apparently the College Republicans National Committee thinks it’s a great ad, because they’re running it in Florida as well.
It is pretty bad, ok very bad. Still nowhere near as bad as Dunhams “losing her virginity” vote for Obama.

So I read the ad concept a week ago. And as I sat very still waiting for my gag reflex to pass, I thought, what can more can be said of them? Ew, yuck, creepy? Somehow the words don’t do justice to the sheer grossness of the spot. I truly thought someone with sense would step in before it got this far. Either they didn’t – or perhaps, well, they did.
