In one of the most bizarre politically-related situations I’ve ever seen, a debate between Florida Gov. Rick Scott and his Democratic challenger Charlie Christ was delayed nearly four minutes after Gov. Scott refused to take the stage because of a small fan located in Charlie Christ’s podium.
Watch for yourselves.
While I appreciate the fact that per the debate’s rule electronic devices were supposed to be banned from the candidates’ podiums, I’m not sure what kind of unfair advantage Gov. Scott thought the small fan would give Charlie Christ.
Tomorrow, the Club for Growth is going before Judge Randa to assert a first amendment right to provide Walker with a fan for the debate.
