Just a few days ago, our Governor was claiming that he might, sometime in the future, take a look at whether it made sense for “us” to run for President in 2016. As quoted in The Hill yesterday, when Governor Walker was asked about the possibility on “The Hugh Hewitt Show”, he said:

“I think with what I’ve had to go through in the last four years, both politically, but also in terms of the policies, certainly I feel that there’s a reason God put me in a spot to do the things that we’ve done and take on the kind of challenges we’ve done,” Walker said.

“And it’s certainly something I’m going to take seriously and really look at it closely over the next month or two,” he added.

Well, as it turns out, he had already hired a consultant by the name of Rick Wiley. Name doesn’t ring a bell with you? Yeah, me neither. Wiley was the RNC contact for Walker’s last campaign and he was the RNC’s Political Director for the 2012 election cycle. Yes, that means he worked the not so successful Romney/Ryan campaign. Prior to that, he was involved with Rudy Giuliani’s run for President (he ran for President?) and was the director of the state party here in Wisconsin in the early 2000’s. Wiley ran the WI GOTV game for Bush in 2004. In case you don’t recall, Bush lost Wisconsin that year.

During the 2012 campaign, Wiley was quoted as saying that “Our No. 1 goal at the RNC this cycle is to lead Barack Obama back to a life of surfing in Hawaii and retire him.”

Here’s hoping he’s just as successful with this venture.

God and I went down to the local pub to chat over a couple of holy water beers about what to do next. Or was it ALEC and I? To the “SKWalker” they would be one in the same.

I want him to do it!!!!! He’ll finally have to face some serious media interrogations as opposed to the softball media pundits he gravitates to in Wisconsin. No more claiming his bald spot is the result of hitting his head on a kitchen cabinet door! Mr. Vaginal probe! Plagiarism anyone??? The national media will make mince-meat out of him. Do it Scott, please!!!!
