  1. I think that most people know when they are stepping over the line, and they just don’t care. It’s like a child flaunting a parent’s authority, just to test them and see how far over the line he can go. Except this is different. Obviously because this is a public forum, and we are all supposed to be adults here, we should exhibit decorum. The problem is that some people don’t even know what that word means. Come on folks. Running a blog like this takes a huge toll on the administrator(s), financially, time wise, and psychologically. If you must act like spoiled children, go on over to Facebook, where you will find plenty of kindred folks. And don’t hide behind user names, either. [signed] James Richard Bailey

  2. I do appreciate your opinion and understand what your saying. I have great respect for the efforts put into maintaining any successful blog. However, this type of behavior isn’t limited to this blog or any other. It’s part of our culture. From Washington to Madison, from Democrats to Republicans, from teacher to student and from parent to child. We all act a fool occasionally. Sometimes to dismantle the fools statement you have to lower your standards and communicate on their level. In Waukesha I have to do it with school principles, elected officials and even my neighbors. It doesn’t mean I have contempt for them or am intentionally trying to disrespect their authority or position in life. It means to get past the wall sometimes you have to go low because the high route is cluttered with brainwashed nonsensical ideals and rhetoric that personally I don’t have time or the patience to deal with.
