Recommend A Wonder Women Around Us

I recently posted an article: “The Wonder Women Around Us: Amanda Hall-Alder, CrossFitter, and Strongman Competitor”.  I’d like to make “The Wonder Women Around Us” a regular part of Blogging Blue.  I know enough pretty awesome women that I could make the series all about the people I know.  I don’t want to do that though.  I want to try and learn about women I may not know. I want to meet these women as our readers get to meet them too.  So, I’m putting a call out to all of you.  Are there Wonder Women you know who should be interviewed and featured?  Are they someone more people should get to know about along with the amazing things they do?

If you want to recommend a Wonder Woman, please let me know by sharing the following:

The person’s name, why you think they are a Wonder Woman, and why they should be featured in Blogging Blue.  Please send me their email address and/or phone number so I can contact them in case they are chosen.

Please send all of the above information to me at: wjstroutbb@gmail.com

Please note that not every recommendation will be chosen.  I want to make this a diverse series.  I’m hoping to feature women of all races, ethnicities, religions, LBTQ, and from all parts of Wisconsin.

  1. You’ll be featuring “women of all races, ethnicities, religions, LBTQ, and from all parts of Wisconsin”, but this being a blog that skews slightly left, I gotta ask. Will you be including woman of all genders?

    1. I imagine the author won’t know if you are nominating yourself so I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

Personally, I would not be nominating anyone without asking that person if it was OK to do it, which is what bothers me most about the blog post request for private information about other people whom I or someone else might admire and who fits the criteria mentioned in the OP.

Being a blog that skews slightly left appears to have nothing to do with the author’s inquiries. I imagine women skewing slightly conservative and members of the GOP (Genocidal Obnoxious Pricks, based on the repeal and replace RyanCare – AHCA legislation) might even qualify as “Wonder Women.”
