But Aren’t We Still Hunting Nazis??

From today’s Washington Post:

But there has already been a remarkable shift in tone among leading Senate Republicans. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), for example, not only defended Trump’s decision but downplayed the seriousness of Moore’s alleged misconduct. “He needs every Republican he can get, so he can put his agenda through,” the president pro tempore and chairman of the Finance Committee told reporters on Monday. “That’s the only Republican you can possibly get down there. … Many of the things he allegedly did are decades ago. So it’s hard to — that’s a decision that has to be made by the people in that state. If they make that decision, who are we to question them?”

“…things he allegedly did are decades ago.” Yes indeed…but aren’t we still hunting down WWII Nazis and bringing them to justice? Just sayin’.

    1. Tom, the discussion isn’t on whether the women are credible witnesses or not…I tend to feel that they are…but whether certain crimes should have a statute of limitations legally…and the same for ethical/moral considerations. I feel that pedophilia like war crimes should never be beyond prosecution…40 years old…70 years old…what have you.

  1. The GOP is pushing back in a big way to defend the insanities of Roy Moore. Now, because of the “resistance,” feminists are “fighting back” Trump by calling out sexual indiscretions, attacking Trump and
Moore while taking on the likes of Franken and Conyers.

I agree with women about sexual coersion; women deserve equal pay for the same work, but calling men
“Nazis” is incredibly vague, just as much as Bernie is supposedly some kind of “Stalin.” Let’s hope our level of discourse get’s real soon, or the Dems are sunk.

Hint: get out and vote for truely progressive populist left Dems, or Wisconsin and America will turn moreso into the fascist land you claim to abhor.
