Good riddance to Joel Kleefisch

Good riddance…

Kleefisch announced last April he would not seek re-election in November. The Waukesha North High School graduate who represents Oconomowoc and the surrounding area said he will now have more time to spend with his daughters, Ella Rose, 15, and Violet, 12.

“There was nothing left on the table,” Kleefisch said. “My children, while growing up, have never really had a parent that was not in elected office. The vast majority of their lives, their parents have both been in elected office. It will be nice to have at least one parent in the private sector.”

  1. Joel has been an effective representative, and he will be sadly missed. Oconomowoc is growing like crazy, with wonderful business development and solid, family-oriented communities.

Thank you for all your hard work and good service to our state and area, Joel!

  2. I hope people in that district will support Melissa Winker. She is working hard, running a great campaign, and will be a quality representative in Madison!
