Let’s Stop Calling It a Furlough, It’s a Lockout!

This is expanding the definition of a work place lock out…which usually only applies to labor disputes…but essentially the result on labor is the same.

They aren’t allowed to work…can’t access their workplace…and can be disciplined for working or attempting to work…and don’t get paid.

So to be frank, furlough doesn’t adequately describe the situation…I say we go with lockout!
