The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Laugable Plea For Subscribers

“As an Ohio newspaper dies, it’s clear subscribers must preserve reporting essential to our democracy” reads the headline from an opinion piece by George Stanley of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Perhaps if George Stanley were so concerned about retaining or recruiting subscribers he wouldn’t have spent years slanting the news in favor of Republicans like Scott Walker.

  1. I cancelled my subscription the day JS endorses Walker. Always soft hitting journalism favoring Walker to get Waukesha Ozaukee Washington subscribers. Why would I give my money to a paper that supported a corrupt governor?

  2. And why would anyone pay for the Journal Sentinel when they can just pick up the Wausau Daily Herald, Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune, Green Bay Press Gazette, Oshkosh Northwestern, Appleton Post-Crescent, The Fond du Lac Reporter, The Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter, The Sheboygan Press, etc. etc. etc. and see the same exact thing?
