After eight years as governor of Wisconsin…eight years of trying to contain the Democratic vote in Milwaukee…eight years of starving the city…eight years of restricting Milwaukee school support…eight years of denying funding for mass transit (no trains to Madison, no money for street car, no street car allowed outside the city limits)…eight years of just denying Milwaukee to self govern in myriad ways…Scott Walker leaves the governor’s mansion in Madison and moves to a condo in? Downtown Milwaukee and then tweets about all the cool things he’s getting to do in and about Milwaukee! Go figure.

And now we have former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan…who didn’t run for re-election last year because he wanted to spend time with his family in their home in Janesville, WI…and stop being a weekend dad and weekend husband. AND? He now announces that he is moving his family to Washington, D.C. Is that a longer trek to his gig at Notre Dame or shorter??

It seems that we just have two puppets here who were/are willing to work against what’s right…for the right puppet master.
