As he left the White House on his way to his rally in Tulsa OK, President Donald Trump weighed in on his trip:
“The event in Oklahoma is unbelievable,” he said. “The crowds are unbelievable, they haven’t seen anything like it and we will go there now, we’ll give a hopefully good speech, we’re gonna see a lot of great people, a lot of great friends and pretty much that’s it.”
The crowds are unbelievable? The campaign had to have a pretty good idea about turnout and the size of the expected crowd by the time the president was leaving Washington.
So was the president lying to us or did the campaign lie to the president? Just wondering out loud.
