Trump calls FBI ‘scum’ at rally in Pennsylvania. Treason.

At a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump called the FBI ‘scum’ amid the release of an IG report on the FBI’s investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign. The IG report debunked the president’s claim that the investigation into his campaign was launched by biased individuals within the intelligence community looking to undermine his presidency.
Was there even a thoughts and prayers tweet this time or just the conveyance of the Saudi’s distress over the shooting?
When a Saudi Air Force officer opened fire on his classmates at a naval base in Pensacola, Fla., on Friday, he killed three, wounded eight and exposed anew the strange dynamic between President Trump and the Saudi leadership: The president’s first instinct was to tamp down any suggestion that the Saudi government needed to be held to account.
Hours later, Mr. Trump announced on Twitter that he had received a condolence call from King Salman of Saudi Arabia, who clearly sought to ensure that the episode did not further fracture their relationship. On Saturday, leaving the White House for a trip here (Fort Lauderdale) for a Republican fund-raiser and a speech on Israeli-American relations, Mr. Trump told reporters that “they are devastated in Saudi Arabia,” noting that “the king will be involved in taking care of families and loved ones.” He never used the word “terrorism.”
What was missing was any assurance that the Saudis would aid in the investigation, help identify the suspect’s motives, or answer the many questions about the vetting process for a coveted slot at one of the country’s premier schools for training allied officers. Or, more broadly, why the United States continues to train members of the Saudi military even as that same military faces credible accusations of repeated human rights abuses in Yemen, including the dropping of munitions that maximize civilian casualties.
One time that the situation demanded that the president put America first, he failed miserably. He has failed to defend the United States. He has failed to defend Americans. He has failed to defend the United States Military. He has committed an act of treason.
For a woman of color to try to defend the continued display of the Confederate Flag is simply beyond the realm of belief. But yet, here we are with the former Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, saying just that.
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley seemed to suggest on Friday that the Confederate flag did not have racist overtones until Dylann Roof “hijacked” it with his 2015 murder of nine black churchgoers.
“Here is this guy that comes out with this manifesto, holding the Confederate flag,” she said. “And had just hijacked everything that people thought of…
“People saw it as service, and sacrifice, and heritage,” the ex-governor continued. “But once he did that, there was no way to overcome it. And the national media came in droves—they wanted to define what happened.
Dylann Roof didn’t hijack the Confederate Flag in his quest to kill African Americans. It already had the connotation of white supremacy hanging on it in an awful stink…and that’s exactly what drew him to it to use in his hateful attack on other human beings. It was ready made and it indicated to the entire nation if not the world, exactly where he stood.
First and foremost the Confederate flag is a symbol of insurrection and treason against the United States.
Second it is a symbol of white supremacy, segregation, and the subjugation of people of color in this nation…particularly African Americans. It was embraced by the revitalized Ku Klux Klan during the post Reconstruction Jim Crow era and again during the Civil Rights era in the post WWII South. It was even added to the Georgia state flag as recently as 1956 as a protest against the Civil Rights movement and the desegregation of public schools.
There is no gray area about its meaning or the intentions of those who wrap themselves in it. I am extremely disappointed on Ms. Haley’s position. She had originally walked away from the Trump regime without too much personal damage or baggage…but she just threw that all away.
just sayin’!! But yes, if someone/anyone were to reveal the name of the whistleblower it would be a violation of federal law…and in the case of the president an obvious and defiant impeachable offense. A line that he would be extremely foolish and arrogant to cross.
