How scott walker has changed his views regarding politics in Wisconsin is enough for Dan Bice to write columns through retirement. In Bice’s latest column he points out how Scott Walker was so quick to criticize Governor Doyle on the conduct of one of his aides! Walker, who we know was perpetually campaigning for Governor(PS read this link), supplied us with some very interesting quotes that Mr. Bice shares!

“Unfortunately, we have a Governor and administration that condones unethical and illegal behavior,” Walker said in a statement on Jan. 24, 2006. “The people of Wisconsin deserve better.”

OOPS…but wait there’s more:

“Today’s indictment provides further confirmation that the Doyle administration is damaged and must be removed from the Capitol,” said Walker, a Wauwatosa Republican, of his Democratic predecessor. “Governor Doyle needs to purge his administration of individuals who place politics and special interests ahead of the people of Wisconsin.”

Walker went on to call on Doyle to adopt a series of reforms that the candidate was proposing.

“Little can be said to underscore the seriousness of this charge. I am hopeful that the people of Wisconsin will allow me the opportunity to clean up Madison with the same fervor that guided my reform movement in Milwaukee County.”

Wow I guess Zach was right, for Walker to be consistent Cullen Werwie and Brett Davis must go. Of course with Scott walker’s track record, it looks like their job is secure(at least until the successful recall election).

Bu the way what did Ciara Matthews, Walkers new campaign spokeswoman who really likes to talk have to say?

Ciara Matthews, spokeswoman for Walker’s campaign, did not return messages last week.

The real question is whats next? Stay tuned!

Here are a list of links about your Republican party that need to be shared, but that I did not have the time, patience or inclination to go into more detail. They however really do speak for themselves!

1. Five Missouri State democratic legislators(four of which are African American women) found rifle crosshair stickers on the office doors.

2. In Arizona(yes Jan Brewer's AZ) a police SARGENT posted a picture on facebook of a bullet riddled T-shirt with President Obama's picture on it!

The Secret Service is investigating an Arizona police officer over a picture he posted on Facebook that appeared to show President Barack Obama riddled with bullets.

Peoria’s Sgt. Pat Shearer admitted to KNXV that he took the photo of several young men — possibly minors — posing with guns and an Obama “Hope” T-shirt that had been destroyed by gunfire. The photo went viral after Shearer posted it to his Facebook page.

“Another trip to the ranch,” read the caption on the photo, according to Phoenix New Times. Comments on the photo included, “Damn it feels good to be a gangsta,” and, “They look like Gangsta’s huh?”

Two of the young men are holding what appears to be assault rifles and another is sporting a pistol.

“I don’t think that the shooting of that T-shirt is that big of a deal,” Shearer said. “It was more of a political statement.”

3. Anti American extremist Grover Norquist says that if President Obama does not extend the Bush tax cuts, he will have him impeached:

NJ: What if the Democrats still have control? What’s your scenario then?

NORQUIST: Obama can sit there and let all the tax [cuts] lapse, and then the Republicans will have enough votes in the Senate in 2014 to impeach. The last year, he’s gone into this huddle where he does everything by executive order. He’s made no effort to work with Congress.

Let’s make absolutely sure the republicans do not have the senate!!

4. Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum sought to limit malpractice awards for everyone but his wife(I know color me surprised):

On the campaign trail, GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum says he will push to limit payments to victims in medical malpractice lawsuits, which he blames for unnecessarily driving up health-care costs. And over the course of his two decades in politics, he repeatedly spoke in favor of capping such awards.

But Santorum testified in support of his wife when she filed a medical malpractice suit in 1999 that sought $500,000, twice the cap in his 1994 legislative proposal. Karen Santorum claimed that a Fairfax chiropractor had left her with a permanent back injury that probably would result in a lifetime of pain medication and restricted mobility.

5. Leaders from the Catholic church have sent a letter to Republican presidential contenders Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich, and asked them “to stop perpetuating ugly racial stereotypes on the campaign trail.”

Catholic leaders issued a letter Friday to GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, themselves Catholics, urging them “to stop perpetuating ugly racial stereotypes on the campaign trail.”

The letter, signed by 45 Catholic leaders says:

Mr. Gingrich has frequently attacked President Obama as a “food stamp president” and claimed that African Americans are content to collect welfare benefits rather than pursue employment. Campaigning in Iowa, Mr. Santorum remarked: “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them somebody else’s money.”

“At a time when nearly 1 in 6 Americans live in poverty, charities and the free market alone can’t address the urgent needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. And while jobseekers outnumber job openings 4-to-1, suggesting that the unemployed would rather collect benefits than work is misleading and insulting,” the letter adds.

“This statement is urging prominent Catholics in the race to go back and look at church teaching,” John Gehring, the Catholic outreach coordinator at Faith in Public Life, tells The Florida Independent, adding “that the letter is also about poverty.”

“The Catholic bishops have been incredibly important in raising a prophetic voice that really challenges those who think that the free market alone can sort of solve our economic problems,” Gehring says.

“You have Catholic conservative leaders, like John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and they’ve all been looking to dismantle vital social safety nets,” Gehring says.

RNC chair Reine Priebus, who turned on his friend Michael Steele to get the job, has done it again. First a little backstory. Reince Priebus, was a former WI rnc head and Michael Best & Friederich lawyer, has an interesting resume.

Priebus has a history of not telling the truth, and blatant hypocrisy. Likes to refer to President Obama as Osama, does not like when minorities vote, and lies whenever possible about voter fraud. Now Reince is up to his old despicable tricks again.

Now Priebus is comparing President Obama to the Italian cruise ship captain Francesco Schettino.

. “In a few months, this is all going to be ancient history,” Priebus said in response to a question about the brutal GOP primary, “and we are going to talk about our own little Captain Schettino, which is President Obama who is abandoning the ship here in the United States and is more interested in campaigning than doing his job as president.” At least 17 people died in the cruise ship disaster.

Recently Arizona Governor Jan Brewer met President Obama on the runway of an airport and they exchanged words. Well it does not take much to make one a right wing hero(if even for a day) and this propelled her to stardom on the right:

The problem here is Ms. Brewer is starting to believe the hype. She seems to have forgotten this moment in her gubernatorial debate in the last election:

Well Ms. Thick skinned handled this debacle like you would expect a republican to handle it – she cancelled the rest of the debates that were scheduled.

Then she falsely claimed(ie lied) that there muliple beheadings in the desert. This claim was so insane that the local reporters wanted to know more. Here Ms. Brewer is showing more of her thick skin by (again as expected) turning tail and running.

So when it comes to Jan Brewer – do not believe the hype!

The current Republican Party. In a follow up to my follow up to my post this morning, pointing out that the republican party is complaining that President Obama is being to divisive in his rhetoric, comes this video from Think Progress. Here is Republican Presidential candidate and former Republican Senator Rick Santorum taking questions.

Much of what The republican party and elected officials(and Fox News) does is speak in code. For Example, When they say things like “i have no reason not to believe that the President was born in the US.” when asked about President Obama and the birther stories. What that does is keeps the issue on the forefront and keeps the loons in the far right extreme fired up. It also allows the actual candidates to pretend they shot the story down, instead of what they are actually doing is keeping the fire stoked. Then when one of these deranged people actually commit a crime or perform an act of violence they can wash their hands of it and pretend they have nothing to do with it. When in reality they unleashed the hounds and are responsible when their dogs bite! Here is a perfect example of this played out in front of our eyes.

1. A lunatic incredibly mis-informed American brings up President Obama not being an American citizen.
2. Senator Santorum listens intently and you can see the self congratulatory smile he gets when he sees where this questions is going.
3.  The looney lady says “he(President Obama) constantly says the Constitution is Passe’”.  Instead of playing the part of the responsible candidate for president of our country and correcting this outright lie, Santorum nods agreeingly;
4. Then he agrees with her, speaking all around the extreme parts of what she said hoping that it continues to linger in the public debate.

SHAME on Santorum and SHAME on the republican party! Until the republican party steps up and stops such incredible bullshit then please do not pretend you care about the best interests of our country!

Yesterday the Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins made their appearance at the White House. One of only three US players on the Bruins, Goalie Tim Thomas Skipped the ceremony:

“I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.
This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.
Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.
This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT”

Was the “independent” professional athlete making a statement for better Government? Not so much:

Thomas is a staunch Republican and actually mentioned “Glenn Beck” as the person he’d most like to have dinner with in the Bruins 2011-12 Media Guide.

This story sounds strangely familiar to Wisconsin Sports fans, doesn't it Mark Chumura?

I am sure that with about 30 seconds of digging, some local columnist will be able to point out the incredibly hypocrisy of Mr. Thomas also. I still can’t believe that there are people in this country who still take Glenn Beck seriously.

I had never heard of Dr. Tim Nerenz until Phil introduced us to him recently. Now he appears to be a wanted in man in the Americans for Propserity circles. At the time there was some talk of Dr. Tim’s credentials and that he actually did a dissertation and has his Phd. Congrats on that, it is an accomplishment to get your Phd(just ask Rachel Maddow). How ever it appears that he is also well versed in comedy. The Good Doc is out with a new blog full of laughs, and proving that his Phd is NOT in current events, media research or Wisconsin in the 21st century.

The highlights of their perfect season, undefeated by couth, includes shouting down the Pledge of Allegiance, booing the National Anthem, disrupting a ceremony honoring Special Olympians, and hassling returning troops, just to name a few. Their behavior in our Capitol rotunda would get them thrown out of Walmart.

Forget Scott Walker; you guys should recall your mom.

Or whoever it was that raised you to believe it was ok to interrupt ceremonies, hurl vulgarities at 14-year-old girls, disenfranchise cloistered nuns, bribe children with cigarettes to sign recall petitions, stalk the families of public officials, throw beer or coffee on opponents, make death threats, and try to shut down dissenting media outlets.

That might be what Democracy looks like in Venezuela or Iran, but not here.

Congrats on listing a full two paragraphs of things that just did not happen(yes I know Miles threw a beer on the slumlord Robin Vos (R- Hingst) and he shouldn’t of but the rest of the list is sorely lacking in reality. But then that is what makes a good joke. That of course and the punchline(but first a little more set up):

That’s not even what 4th grade looks like here. Our moms raised us to wait our turn, to let everyone speak, to compromise, to watch our language in public, to be gracious in both victory and defeat. We learned to stand our ground, but not to stand in the path of others’ rights to pass. We learned tolerance and patience – from our moms.

We don’t taunt, we don’t bully, and we don’t respect people so undisciplined that they cannot put a sock in it for one hour to honor the memory of a man who sacrificed his life for a cause he carried with dignity and respect.

Yes the first paragraph is setting up the giggles and of course who would have the nerve to fight for workers rights and the underprivileged on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of all days? But here you go, grab your sides, here is the bellybuster!

I’ve heard the comeback: both sides do it. No, they don’t; one side does it. And that one side is not winning over any unaligned voters by pitching fits in public.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA LOLLOLOLO ROFLMAO HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAH

Ok catch your breath and I guess Dr. Tim has been too busy throwing red meat to the white crowds in Waukesha to have met Carl Sosnoski or Linda Lorino or Charles Brey or Kevin Binversie or even David "Ike Turner" Prosser… and the list goes on and on….

Dr. Tim, Thanks for the laugh this morning but I think you really need to get out in public more and maybe grab a newspaper when your out and about!
