This is unbelievable… The Wisconsin State Employees Union last month seized tens of thousands of dollars from five union locals of correctional officers that have broken away from WSEU. WSEU’s director said the union had taken about $45,000, while an official with one of the locals said the total was closer to $25,000.

No doubt you’re probably wondering, “Who the heck is Danny Donohue?” Donohue (pictured, left) isn’t an elected official, nor is he a candidate for elected office, but he is a candidate for AFSCME International President.
As many of you know, I’m a proud member of AFSCME (Council 24, to be exact), and I’ve taken a [...]

If the people asking this question can’t remember Tom Barrett’s role during those crucial weeks, [...]
There are still many people who are upset that Kathleen Falk has received the endorsements of WEAC / Emily's List and AFSCME / John "Sly "Sylvester , the full membership of IBEW and (most importantly) Yours truly!

Q. I want Russ Feingold to run. A. So do I, [...]
This does not surprise me one bit… Emily’s List announced Thursday that they will back former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk for the Democratic nod to oppose Walker in the recall election later this year. One of two women running for governor, Falk is currently considered the frontrunner in the Democratic contest, though one possible [...]
Well, it looks like the unions are trying to dissuade any Democrats other than Kathleen Falk from running in a Democratic gubernatorial recall primary, as earlier today Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) has recommended Kathleen Falk for governor once a recall election against Republican Gov. Scott Walker is certified.
