This week Monday Move to Amend: Southeast Wisconsin held a press conference> and rally to try to get Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele to sign a resolution to put a referendum on this fall’s ballot asking Congress to amend the United States Constitution stating that corporations are not a persons and money is not speech. [...] Former U.S. Senator Russ Feingold wrote a letter to the New York Times Magazine in response to what he calls an “absurd” piece on the Citizens United decision that Feingold says misses the biggest problem stemming from that disastrous decision: a new form of corruption in our democracy.
