Cudahy’s mayoral election turning into a morass of wild accusations and conspiracy theories?

It’s election season here in Cudahy, and though we still have just over two months until the spring election, we’ve seen no shortage of wild accusations of illegal campaign activities and back-door deals being set up by candidates. Being a new resident to Cudahy, I’ve taken a keen interest in our local political goings-on, and [...]

Hump day news & notes

Just a few bits of news that caught my eye this morning…

Talking Points Memo has a writeup on the race in Wisconsin’s 8th congressional district between incumbent Democrat Rep. Dave Obey and Republican challengers Sean Duffy and Dan Mielke, who has labeled himself a “tea-party type candidate.” The NRCC is promoting Duffy as one [...]

An interview with Kevin Fech

During our conversation, we touched on a number of topics, including his personal background and qualifications, the personal strengths he’d bring to the table as mayor, as well as [...]

In Brief: Bader suspended, Walker lays off county employees

Green Bay radio talk show host Jerry Bader, who got himself into a bit of hot water over comments he made about Lt. Gov. Barb Lawton, has been suspended for two weeks by WTAQ-AM (1360). The station also said a decision on Bader’s future would be made after his suspension, and it’s worth noting [...]
