Call these folks!

It seems the government shutdown has ended and the Democrats have remained victorious in the battle that was SHUTDOWN 2013, as Fox News was putting it. Republicans have a 74% approval, they’re lowest since Gallup has been taking the poll. Democrats are down in numbers too, but retain better numbers.

This is awesome for us because Speaker John “the Crier” Boehner, might have to hand over his gavel to Nancy Pelosi or whomever might get a shot at the speakership in just over a year.

But I have a request for you readers! Below is the list of senators who casted a “no” vote to open the government. Give them a call or shoot their office an email. Tell them that you are from Wisconsin and feel lucky that you have Tammy Baldwin representing you in Congress because she voted with the bipartisan majority because she knows what’s right for this country and our state. Tell them how the shutdown affected you and tell them how they are an embarrassment to the office they represent. Especially Ron Johnson.

Paul Ryan had some free time on his hands

Its not like he has anything else to do, and he was recently named the “most influential” politician. So influential in fact that he was able to rig the “politifact lie of the year” award. Not only did Paul Ryan(R – Wall St.)get them to pick the one he wanted, he was even able to make them turn a true statement into the “lie of the year”. Now if only he could work that magic and bring jobs to his district(Paul in case you are reading this, your district is the 1st Congressional District in Wisconsin(Janesville, Kenosha, Racine, etc…):

The right wing cheddarsphere were all over this like Newt Gingrich on a new intern, or David Vitter at a diaper sale!

Finally for more on this story see here!

Goodbye David Vitter

While you certainly defend your party’s principles (such as they are) Mr. Vitter, your frequenting prostitutes and the tawdry nature of said assignations have harmed your effectiveness in Congress.   It is good that you have stood tall, admitted to your sins, and resigned for the good of your party and your nation.  God speed with the rest of your life.

This fantasy about personal responsibility on behalf of a Republican is brought to you by the letter “Y,” as in “Y do republicans have such problem with morality?”

Today Senator Ron Johnson (R- Class rings) spoke out saying that saying that Representative Anthony Weiner should resign. Since our citizen legislator weighed in on this topic I wanted to get some more of his brilliant thoughts so I called his Oshkosh Office and had a cordial but quick chat with Janet.

JS: Hello Janet, I just have a quick question. Since Senator Johnson today called for Representative Weiner to resign, what are his thoughts on Randy Hopper? Does he feel the same?

Janet: No Comment.

JS: How about David Vitter any thoughts there?

Janet: No Comment

JS: Isn’t Randy Hopper, Senator Johnson’s Senator? Doesn’t Randy Hopper represent Senator Johnson in Madison?

Janet: I am not going to comment on that sir.

JS: So you will not even say who represents Senator Johnson in Madison?

Janet: No Comment.

JS: Thanks Janet, have a great day.
