A definite hatred of satirical cartoonists: Anwar al-Awlaki A Seattle cartoonist who drew a satirical cartoon suggesting an “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!” — an idea she later disavowed — reportedly has been placed on a hit list by a terror leader linked to the failed Times Square car bombing. They censored a little art show that was being planned by the UW school for [...] Recently, Steve Nass and his spokesman got wind that the UW School for workers was putting on an art show. They then went into their extreme partisan frenzy and went there, and after some threats of pulling funding, made them cancel the show. The University of Wisconsin’s School for Workers was planning on hosting [...] Why we need to go to a part time legislature. Let me take a step back quick and set this up. I recently came across tthis article about why the religious right does not like public schools. Right-wing fundamentalists such as Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum hate public schools, which he suggests [...] PLEASE!!! In the Village of Cottage Grove, we found out recently, that we have a royal family and no one is allowed in and no one can be voted out. As I wrote yesterday the Village Board was getting ready to appoint registered (secret) lobbyist Paula Severson to fill out a one year [...] As if we needed anymore reminding but here is more: If you know anyone in the Village of Cottage Grove, we also have an election that can send a message to Scott Walker!! Appointed (for 19 months of a 24 month term) Village of Cottage Grove Mike Mikalsen, was recently on the Mitch Henck radio show (1310AM) and said this “Every aspect of collective bargaining has a cost”. Forgetting the fact that the republicans in the Senate would disagree with him, I actually AGREE with Mr. Mikalsen.
