Rob Zerban, the Democrat taking on Paul Ryan in the 1st Congressional District, will hold a Town Hall Meeting tomorrow evening in Genesee Depot (Waukesha County). Zerban will talk about the Paul Ryan budget and take questions from the audience, according to campaign staff. That’s because, according to Laurel Walker of the Journal Sentinel, a Waukesha County Supervisor made a motion [...] He’s only about a year and a half late, but Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas says he’s ready to “make changes to restore the people’s faith and confidence in the election reporting in Waukesha County.” At least, that’s what he told Larry Sandler of the Journal Sentinel after Tuesday’s revelation that Kathy Nickolaus made changes [...] When choosing your candidate for U.S. Senate, ask yourself this: do you want a candidate with a ton of money who can create crafty television ads or a candidate who has a proven track record of fighting for the middle class? Personally, I’d prefer the latter. So would other Waukesha County residents who came out [...] During the May 8 primary election here in Waukesha County, things went slowly, but smoothly. But since our embattled county clerk, Kathy Nickolaus, appeared to be in charge of that election, even though she was not “supposed” to be, some Wisconsin voters were concerned that she may once again be in charge on June [...] Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen (R) plans to send Special Agents and Assistant Attorneys General to monitor election day goings-on at select Wisconsin locations. Unfortunately, according to Rep. Jon Richards, Van Hollen will send nine teams to Milwaukee and Madison, but NO teams to Washington or Ozaukee Counties, and ONE team to Waukesha County. [...] Some friends of mine are rejoicing over this morning’s news that Kathy Nickolaus will not seek re-election in the fall. She’s done after December 31, 2012.
