Recall Doyle? Probably not…

As first reported by Fred Dooley over at “Real Debate,” Citizens for Responsible Government (CRG) has announced they are going to launch a recall effort aimed at removing Governor Jim Doyle from office. The recall effort will need 500,000 signatures in 60 days, and what I’d like to do is take friendly wagers on how many valid signatures CRG’s effort will actually get.

I’m guessing they’ll get 34,000 signatures, but then again, I’m a glass half-full kinda guy.

  1. The audacity of hope is this gets a big, gushy splash and then goes on to lay an egg. We’ll be here to remind everyone of the short comings of this efort.

  2. I wish these people that want to recall Doyle would just leave the state. We don’t need working people here. We need more people on welfare so we can get more money from Obama. Doyle ‘s doing his best to tax business’s out of the state but he needs to do more.

  3. No jobs, I’d respond if I thought you were serious, but since it’s obvious you’re trolling, I won’t waste the effort.

  4. We cannot
    We should not
    And I will not
    Raise Taxes

    10 days after re-election

    Opps did I say that?

  5. Jim, you’re not implying Doyle should be recalled for a broken promise, are you? After all, Doyle’s not the first politician to break a promise, nor will he be the last.

  6. Recall Jim bob! It would be the best thing we could do for the state! I wish HE would leave the state! Tax like you mean it!

  7. Heh….if we recalled every politician who broke a promise, there’d be none left, either in Wisconsin or in Washington.

  8. I can’t wait until he lets drug offenders out on the streets, makes I94 from Milwaukee to IL 8 lanes instead of 6 (since no one needs to drive to any jobs), and wastes money building a train from Milwaukee to Chicago (in case the 8 lane freeway is full of people that have no jobs to drive to) LOL get real- diamond jim is the poster child of financial irresponsibility.
