Perhaps it’s because I’m a big fan of getting great deals on flat screen TV’s, but I actually agree with James Wigderson that Wisconsin’s minimum markup law is due for some serious changes. I certainly understand the reasoning behind the law being put into effect seventy years ago, but times have changed and perhaps it’s time to take a good long look at changing Wisconsin’s minimum markup law, a change that could only benefit Wisconsin’s consumers – and by default Wisconsin businesses, perhaps even stimulating the economy in the process.

I read that as well and couldn’t help but agree. The end result will benefit big retail stores at the expense of small business, but that is bound to happen.
