U.S. Senator Russ Feingold will be the next guest for “On the Issues” with Mike Gousha at Marquette University Law School Friday, Nov. 13. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Sensenbrenner Hall, room 307, located at 1103 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Feingold, a Wisconsin Democrat, is known for his independent streak. He was the sole vote against the Patriot Act, he was only one of three Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee to vote for the confirmation of Chief Justice John Roberts and he is the co-author of the McCain-Feingold campaign-finance legislation. Feingold, an attorney and former Rhodes Scholar, will discuss today’s pressing issues, such as health care reform and the war in Afghanistan.
Gousha, an award-winning journalist, continues his “On the Issues” series of provocative and insightful interviews with local and national public officials, journalists and other newsmakers throughout the year. A complete schedule is available online.
