Jim, I was just getting to that! Thanks for posting a link!
I was listening to the Rachel Maddow show the other night and she was talking about Sen. Feingold and something to do with Uganda. I was only half listening…but apparently he was out in front communicating with the leaders of Uganda about some sort of anti-gay bill they are looking to pass. Of course he was strenuously objecting to it…without any prompting by the media. Go figure…
here is what trips my trigger, how can paul ryan continue to complain about helping out the Auto industry? now that he has lost every single auto job in his district, does he want to make sure we lose them all? who the hell taught him economics? Finally. where the hell are the teabaggers and why arent they beating on his door?
his fastball is slower than suppans don’t expect much 10 to 12 wins a little better than louper
I’d be happy with 12 wins if he could keep his ERA under 4.50.
If you’re happy with 12 wins, why does it matter if his ERA is 4.5 or 10.5?
Well, because even in the games he doesn’t have a decision, if he’s keeping the team close, perhaps then they’ll win a few of those games.
Did anyone see the news coverage on the hearing regarding legalizing medical marijuana? How can anyone think legalizing marijuana for people who need it to control pain due to illness and disease is a “plot” to legalize it for everyone?? Man alive…people’s stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
Sorry for using your Saturday open thread on Thursday…but…
Why are we hearing about shoplifters and not ARMED ROBBERS on the news and in the newspapers?? Which would you all rather know about?? South Milwaukee’s Aldi was robbed on Sunday and not a peep about it in South Milwaukee Now, JSonline, and on the News. WTF?????
No need to apologize; that’s what this thread is for, even if it is Thursday 😛
As for the news, I’m not sure how/why they pick the stories they do, but I think armed robberies aren’t as “newsworthy” as rich doctors who engage in shoplifting for thrills.
It may not be “newsworthy” to the newspapers/stations but it sure is to me. A customer risked her life by following/chasing the robber to his car and she was able to describe the car and give other important information to SMPD.
Call me crazy…but I think anyone who threatens a young woman with a gun and then commits an ARMED ROBBERY needs his picture shown on the news so everyone knows what a low life he is.
I don’t think you’re crazy at all; I’d like to see their photos all over the news and in the paper, so that they have nowhere to hide.
Well…apparently…they do know how to report on armed robberies…I guess they just pick and choose which ones are newsworthy….
Thank God they found these assholes…I have been thinking of this Wauwatosa Police Officer since she was shot in the line-of-duty…my prayers are with her and her family and friends.
I saw this on Democurmudgeon, Ron Reagan totally smokes Ron Christie on Hardball. Christie brings up Reagan’s daddy and gets totally shot down. It’s great.

Absolutely.
So what do you think of the Randy Wolf signing?

One’s still on the loose though, but I agree that it’s a good thing that they know who did it.
