So the national “Tea Party” convention was held this weekend, as despite the presence of conservative darling Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker, 600 folks attended the “Tea Party” convention. For a supposed “national movement,”attendance of 66 at your national convention isn’t that impressive. As James Rowen notes, he’s been to local weekend conferences with that many people.

Surely, you mean 600 million people were in attendance.
I’m not surprised. Not everyone drinks Tea. Should have been a “National Tea Party…with Coffee” convention with a tag line that says …brewed by Starbucks…
You might be on to something, PB.
Well even if I agree with the movment, I am not going to fly to Nashville to attend a convention. It doesn’t mean there aren’t legions of people out there who agree and are supportive.
I do wonder how many leftist nutjobs showed up to protest it. They usually have an easier time making time and showing up for those things, because a lot of brainwashed and/or uninformed college students don’t have things to worry about like raising families, paying taxes, or running businesses/showing up for work.
If only those leftists were more like the rightists…
Insulting college kids is a bottom-of-the-barrel tactic.
It’s easy to insult college kids, just like it’s easy to call liberals socialists, whether it’s true or not.
