Sent to me via email was this fundraising plea from Republican U.S. Senate candidate Terrence Wall’s mother:
Maybe it’s just me, but a political candidate sending out a campaign fundraising appeal written by his mom right around Mother’s Day seems pretty desperate.
Then again, considering the fact that Terrence Wall has had a really really hard time raising money for his campaign, it shouldn’t be at all surprising he’d use dear old mom to help tug at the heartstrings to raise some money.
Now you’re just being mean. I received the letter, and as mom, I understood what it means to stand behind your son. No matter what age, you son will always be someone you want protect and help.
Leave his mom alone.
