      1. You’re welcome. I watched the debate on Friday and Walker’s BS was just too much for me. God…I hope people can see through him. It’s not like it’s not all spelled out for the voters in the newspapers. Honestly…I have never disliked a candidate as much as I dislike Walker.

    1. I look forward to Zach calling you out for this. Oh wait, you said something deragotary about a Republican so you just get an ‘LOL’ and all is well. Carry on.

      1. You should look at the title of this blog. The other day your panties were in knots at a guy because you said “I bet you’d never vote for a Republican” haaaarumpf!
a.) you don’t know the guy
b.) so what if he doesn’t. the people who run a blog called BlogginBlue JUST MAY be really into the Democratic party and JUST MAY be straight party voters.
        YA THINK !?! O.O
So to come to a BLUE blog and get all highty-tighty cuz they actually VOTE BLUE makes no goddam sense.
Goddam these Democrats who VOTE DEMOCRAT!!!
btw, How many Dems do YOU vote for? None right? so why do you even expect anyone here to. Lots of people are very loyal to their party. LOL if it’s Republicans then I guess to you that’s Holy Loyalty, if it Democrats that’s Moral Failure. herp derp hunny!
Some of us vote mixed, but you’re even all Dominatrix-y about that too.

I can’t imagine in Zach’s rare free moments he goes over to RedState and freaks his mighty freak on them for not voting Democrat.

Baby, youze makes no sense a-tall.

        1. Annie, my comment about voting Republican was not aimed at Zach. I would never expect him to vote Republican. My comment that day was in response to someone (I think T.?) who said he was an independent. Based on his comments he didn’t sound too independent, so I inquired as to what issues he was more center/right on. And if you are a true moderate, I would assume you would vote candidates on both sides.

Yes, I can very well see the title of the blog, but does that mean you can be as uncivil as you want towards the other side? Zach has often said he keeps things clean and above board, which I think is great. So then all of a sudden I see further on down this post, Zach is calling on *ME* to regulate when a lib is called a bad name. Further on up the board something bad is said about Scott Walker. I don’t think it’s right to pick and choose who gets to be called names and who doesn’t.

So Annie, what exactly did I say that doesn’t make sense?

          1. I believe you mocked MadCityMan a contributor to the is blog for not voting Republican. Zach is not the only blogger here. He has a team

You have a very unpleasant tone over all. see your use of the word “Lib’ in this very comment above. It’s “not nice” the way you talk to people here, yet you want the highest standards of respect to be shown to “your side”. Maybe you are so used to the terrible way that “your fellow Americans” are referred to on Hate TV and hate Radio that you don’t even realize how unpleasant you are to “us” I think you do, I think that’s why you come here – to needle the “libs”, so what confuses YOU about anyone’s reaction to you? Yo don’t come here to share and “emote”, to get any kind of real dialogue going. That could happen you know, people could have an actual discussion about how they think, but that wil never happen, we choose to all act like idiots.
So be it. I won’t be a sap and be decent when others will not -ever.
But what makes no sense is that apparently it’s okay by you if all those nasty guys like Beck and Limbaugh and O’Reilly say really horrible things about people who don’t EXACTLY mirror their views but then you sit like a hawk and expect it won’t come right back at ya.

Your “side” is not nice. I can’t turn on my TV but hear all kinds of horrible stuff said by commentators and “professionals. It’s sick. The Blues may not be nice from your point of view either but for God’s sake you personally come here to troll but then get uppity about people getting pissed by that. Oh you wonderful Troll – so happy to have you, here’s a cookie! wtf
is that what you think should happen? I can’t imagine if I went over and Bitched at Owen Robinson all day that he’d consider me his BFF

As a way to spend a valuable Life, that makes no sense, and I don’t give a Tinker’s damn what Owen says. hooo cares.
Unless you’re a paid Party troll, then have at it and enjoy. I could give a rat’s ass most of the time. Once in a while tho’ I’d at least enjoy a little creativity in the insults. Work on that then please.
Lib Lib Lib Lib libbity lib lib lib lib caaaaw!
You sound like a freak-ass parrot.
There must be a neo-Con Thesaurus for sale somewhere. Get one.

And I don’t know T. so I may be Over-empathizing but I think you mistake his/her statements. Independent does NOT equate to “moderate” or centrist. S/he said “independent”
I for example would not call myself “moderate”, yet I “vote around”. The divisions of issues and positions between Democrats and Republicans is arbitrary. Each party, over time has gotten “married” to certain issues.
But these issues do not by their nature always “belong” to each other. There fore a person who has an underlying belief system might not find that expressed by one party each and every time.In that case you have to guess, or try to balance yourself Or just give up and not vote.

Neither party makes sense anymore if you think about the contradiction positions of each. Can I explain that yes I sure can, but it would take a long time, time away from family and responsibilities I have. It might be worth it if it lead to understanding, But you wouldn’t give a shit. You will only dismiss anything that comes out of a “lib’s” face
The way you and Notalib say that, you might as well be saying “Nigger” or, maybe you are comfortable saying that too.

I say, you sit on this blog and be nasty-shitty day in day out. You deserve what you get. and pretty soon, just like for Notalib it’s gonna be silence that you get from me. I KNOW that will not be a loss to you. so let’s start now.
final thought – you’re mean. you act like only you “kind” are real humans.
For all the flap about The CONSTITUTION and the F-ing Fathers and “conservatism” y’all kinda forget that this is MEANT to be 2 party, and MEANT to have checks and balances. NO ONE PARTY or viewpoint is supposed to have it all. WE are supposed to work together. The whole thing is designed that way.
Karl Rove and those New American Planet idiots decided they want total control, so it’s been that now for years. Don’t pretend that isn’t what he wants, he has said it straight out.
You are not supposed to have it all, Nor are the Democrats. YOU are supposed to work together, We’re all going down in a BFBVFS from this stupid standoff between the hate-filled parties who do NOTHING but point fingers at each other. Nothing.
            whatever.

btw the ocher day after reading you and Notalib’s shit I almost went down to the Clerk’s office and early-voted straight Dem in spite of my previous plans cuz I’m so sick of all the BS. But that let’s you “drive my car” and be important in my life,(pathetic tho’ it may be) so I didn’t, but really, XDDDDD u bitches are outta hand

            yeeee haaaaaaa and goodbye

            1. I believe you mocked MadCityMan a contributor to the is blog for not voting Republican.

Not that’s just not correct Annie. I remember that thread – his posts were very specifically in response to a one where the poster identified him/herself as an independent. I thought it was T. as well, but not completely sure there. Point is, if you claim to be an independent, then others most certainly have the right to inquire. If you’re solely supporting one side, with no exceptions, you are not an independent by any reasonable definition of the word.

Aside from some degree of decorum, a baseline level of honesty is not too much to ask for. Though I wouldn’t/shouldn’t presume to put words in forgot (or anyone else’s) mouth, we know full well what the title of this blog is. Personally, I don’t begrudge at all, anyone here taking positions supporting the blue – it’s part of why I come here. Just don’t pretend that you’re an independent if you don’t ever go red or even purple.

              1. Exactly what Locke said. It was definitely not MadCityMan, almost positive I was inquiring about T. who said he was an independent. I understand it is a liberal blog and I expect liberal opinions and I for one actually like to hear what those on the other side are saying and be challenged by different opinions and perspectives.

                1. I wasn’t too bothered by it honestly to explain how or why I was independent? So a lot of people getting all worked up over this is a little silly.

( I’m pretty borderline reddish purple on gun rights to be honest and I’m actually unsure how public healthcare can be placed on a country this big. Ideally, I’d love it. Realistically? I’m wondering how it would work. )

  1. Also…the woman who got her head stomped on really annoyed me this week. Who gets man-handled in that way and doesn’t fight back? Come on already. I’m not a very strong person but if some asshole man grab me like that he’d be laying on the ground holding his groin bleeding from the nose. One elbow jab to the face and a good swift kick to his nuts. She played the victim role and that really annoyed me…because there are real victims out there that aren’t playing.

        1. whatevs. I think the Stompee Girl looks like a fucktard, like a cottonhead who is deluded about “making a difference” and what that might actually entail. However, I don’t think women who don’t rally the ‘resources” to fight back physically from a surprise attack should beat themselves up later. It might be in some cases that your so taken by surprise it just doesn’t compute right away. People don’t always process it.
Kinda like the way I USED to be the kind of person who thought of that great thing I want to say a half-hour after my feelings got hurt. Now, I just go up and down the street looking for people who need straightening out. lol, Not really, but I am no longer at a loss for words unless I’m sleeping. XD So not everyone is ready to go Vin Deisel at all times.

However.IMO she’s a tool. Rushing at a National Douchebag with a mock award, what’s that gonna do? Jack. So to watch this girl talk later, she seems pretty ready to soak up the media. Just another bullshit activist just adding more noise to the chaos.
What bugs me (aside from male violence to women)
is that this ain’t about Rand Paul in the least, HE didn’t stomp her. There’s not guilt by association in the good old USA!
So unless theres’ some evidence that Paul issued orders to Stomp Heads, and that is not even suggested. THis is just about painting all of THEM as evil. Which is crap and is what is bringing his country down.
4 people look to be involved i that incident. NOT all Tea party people or All Tennessee people or all ANY people.

and the dumb thing is, Rand Paul does enough shit that males ppl mad already. Lets’ focus on that, and not have the Stomper represent ALL the people on the “other side”.
What’s gonna stop this kind of crap – civil war?
SOME tea p.s say they will resort to violence but only the ones who finally act are guilty of it. I remember that Black Panthers spoke some pretty hostile words, but they did not speak for all black people. Nor for MLK. This is the same as saying the 911 Muslims represent ALL Muslims.
This is why I hate freakin’ politics.

The headstomp guy is a vicious mutherfuck, I hope he gets serious repercussions, Bu that’s on him, Unless there is some evidence of “official policy” coming from the campaign and Rand it’s not about Rand
The Conway ad sucks shit in a major way too.
This is why I hate freakin’ politics.

  2. Wondering if folks like Zach and Proud Progressive are already working on their spin for Wednesday morning. I have a sneaking suspicion of what some of it may entail.

    1. What exactly am I going to need to spin? I predict there will be winners and losers on November 2, and unlike the meltdown I witnessed from many on the right after President Obama was elected, I’ll be just fine. The sun will still rise and set, and life will go on, whether the candidates I support got elected or not.

      1. So you won’t be providing any post-election analysis or the “real” reasons Republicans got elected?

I already saw some of it happening on the Sunday morning shows. Like Donna Brazille saying all of this was not a repudiation of Obama or Democrats or their agenda, and even Cokie Roberts couldn’t let that slide adn was like, “Excuse me? That’s not what people are saying or what polls are showing.”

        1. Donna Brazille is just a lapdog for the DNC who can only read prepared statements, just like dumb dumb in the white house and his teleprompter

            1. You making up conspiracies in your head about what Zach is going to do after the election. That’s just strange.

              1. Lol, there’s no conspiracies, but I would expect him to blog about the results of the election, wouldn’t you? And if Democrats lose, I wouldn’t expect him or any of the other contributors here to say that Dems lost fair and square. I will expect some excuses, and maybe even some conspiracies of their own (likely from PP, I should expect a Koch Bros. conspriacy reference for sure).

                1. You expect that from Zach and PP…because that is what the right did when President Obama won. You may not believe me but I didn’t vote for President Obama but once he won he became my President…and I thought the least I could do is give him a fair shake at trying to make this country better…(although it did take me awhile because I really really wanted Hillary to win). That’s not what most of the right has done though. They have been nothing more than obstructionist and that’s un-American in my book.

                  Hillary 2012! πŸ˜‰

                  1. Did you call out the left for being un-American from Jan 20, 2001 (protesting & giving Bush the finger at inauguration) through Jan 20, 2009 (“na na na hey hey hey goodbye”) and everything in between? Not exactly a “fair shake” there either.

                    1. So you had to follow politics at the time to have an opinion of that time now? Nice excuse. I guess you can’t comment on slavery, women’s suffrage, the Civil War, WWII, or who killed Kennedy either.

                    2. forgot…now I have to call you obnoxious. If someone gave President Bush the bird I didn’t hear about it at the time…so no…I didn’t have an opinion on it at the time. But…now that you have told me about it it is my opinion that it wasn’t very nice. Feel better? I’m not sure how someone giving Bush the bird correlates to the obstructionist President Obama has been up against though??

                2. Yeah, because clearly I’m a big believer in conspiracy theories.

Do I believe the effects of the Citizens United decision were on full display in this election? Absolutely, but I’m not the only one. The impact of secretive PACs has played a large (and I’d argue detrimental) part in this election, but that’s as close as I’ll get to a “conspiracy theory.”

  3. Stupid MOVEON Skank…….lesson learned don’t go to a rally and try to agitate, people are tired of nags like you. Wonder if Russ will move back to Wisconsin and get a real job finally so he knows what its like to have to earn a living, I doubt he will, he is to use to the lazt life of DC it fits him very well.

  4. All right, getting away from politics in general what are you doing for halloween?

I’m pretty much watching the Packers game outside now in my garage now while sitting outside with a bowl of dark chocolate reese’s peanut butter cups. And if anyone comes over, I’m not letting anyone else have them. (Not that they would I think I live in a fairly rural area)

To be fair I have another bowl of candy if people come over though.

Any particular horror movies you guys like to watch? Any favorites? I’ve been watching old time films, like Rosemary’s Baby, a ton of Alfred Hitchcock films, and so on. Of course, if I need a laugh, I watch the Evil Dead Series, which actually has a pretty amazing sense of humor.

  5. Oh wow! I knew the Packers were good, but I did not expect a shut out. I had my fingers crossed this morning, but wow.

    Game ended 9 to 0!

    1. …Okay what is with my first comment awaiting moderation and my second one just sort of chilling here?

    2. Are you on a sugar high now? I’ve never had the dark chocolate Reeses… would you recommend over the regular kind? I like the Hitchcock ones too.

      1. I’m technically not, I’m actually eating it fairly slowly, just had about two pieces. If you eat dark chocolate, I suggest you try it in sort of how you would do it like a wine? Leave it to melt it in your mouth the taste begins to change and actually makes a nice contrast with the peanut butter. I say it’s pretty good, as long as you leave it in your mouth to melt but I actually prefer dark chocolate over the regular kind.

Overall, Dark Chocolate while healthier for you, but if you chomp it down like normal chocolate you’re going to only taste bitterness.

        1. Lulz, thanks for being off topic, People usually get disciplinary on forums if you interact at all. It’s like Rule One is
“insult each other as MUCH as possible, but DO NOT chat or bond, or show any sings of humanity! these issues are SERIOUS, we want NO mutual understanding here! and NO talk of dark chocolate” lol, Idiots.
I don’t do horror at all. Nor do I do the Packers.
I no longer give out treats either – waaay too expensive.
These days most of what’s on TV thru Oct. has a horror theme so I avoid all that if I can. if u see my blog, it has the LOOK of goth-iness and horror but that is just a styling/imagery thing.
sooo. I took the dogs for a long walk by and Un-specified Body of Water (I don’t want to be too lcale-specific) and then I grocery-shopped, which I HATE to do when it’s busy since I HATE PEOPLE! and crowds.
Soon I will attack the un-ending laundry. Later my family member will be doing some tarot readings since this is Samhain and “window-into-the-beyond night. So I’ll hear about that, Maybe I’ll do my own reading just for the HELL of it. I can do it but I never really live by it, I can’t remember advice form anywhere, natural or supernatural to implement anything a reading might say.

btw chocolate was a mystical item for the Aztecs or whoever (u probably know already), try some real high grade stuff, Reeses dark if not like REAL dark I think their use of the term “dark” is relative to the other brown matter they pass off as chocolate. Grocery stores usually have “more real” stuff tucked on some high shelf. It’s spendier for sure but don’t die without trying it. One you try that, then grab a Hersheys’ It won’t even seem like chocolate anymore.
          c u later, T. πŸ™‚

          1. Yeah, I can understand. I don’t like it when people insult each other for the most part and try to avoid personal attacks – the most I might use is ‘stupid’ or ‘idiot’ in decision making. I figure I can have a civil conversation with about everyone despite political beliefs or anything – will I get heated? Absolutely. But I don’t let it get to me to the point of personal attacks.

I know there are more real dark chocolate in the stores tucked away – I usually find it at a local U-Bake honestly in Green Bay. But I think I’m able to afford it and give away candy and food in the first place because we have a ton of family, but we’re so far out in the rural area we don’t get many visitors anyway, but those who do come out here get a little bag of candy, cookies, dried cranberries, cute strawberry ghosts, and made homemade carmel apples. (Golden Delicious if you’re wondering.) Most of the people who visit us though actually are distantly related though or friends of the family or neighbors.

I personally enjoy socializing when I get the chance, and I figure if nobody comes – well that’s extra food for our family right? πŸ˜€

        2. i guess I do watch some that would be in the horror genre but the more imaginative stuff, nothing like Saw or Paranormal ACtivity and the really sadistic or just violent stuff.
But I don’t even think of The Birds as Horror. Rear Window, Spellbound and Vertigo are very great but to me that’s suspense. Marnie is just disturbing. so I dunno, I’m confused about what is what XD
and I won’t get into the whole Twilight thing. lol that is real war over that thing. even Glenn Beck would be scared to get between warring bands of teenagers with Big Twilight Opinions.

          1. Don’t talk to me about Twilight, that is such tripe on so many levels. I geninuely think the movie is better because the actor himself does not like Edward. :’)

I do think a lot of horror revolves around suspense to a degree, and I think the uneasiness helps. Not just shocks, blood, gore, or screamer, but genuine uneasiness. Subtle things sadly gets overlooked these days, which makes me rather sad. I believe Glenn Beck would back away in fear from the legion of teenage girls sadly to say. He knows not to get into that war.

        3. I love Von Helsing
(w/ Hugh Jackman), it’s LOL, a lot of ridiculousness, and the hat and cape are HAWT, great Dracula, great Brides, and Anna Valerius is a female character I can enjoy and not find annoying

    1. Then in two years…..we will be doing this all over again. Election fatigue never ends in America!

        1. Honestly I bet this would be right after the election being over. Not just two days. Speaking about politics never dies.

        2. Don’t forget, the next primary is February 15, 2011…and it may include the special election for either Mayor of Milwaukee or Milwaukee County Exec and County Supervisor to replace Chris Larson…

    2. I doubt it….the most determined one just seems to want to antagonize, regardless of the election….you guys just don’t see the efforts of that troll.

  6. I can’t believe I’m am watching a Brett Favre football game. My hubby still has a crush on him. Maybe once Deanne dumps Favre he’ll make his move. Lame…lame…lame!!

    1. It hurt my jaw just watching that hit on him that took him out of the game. Ouch.

      1. I was at the Vikings game. I’ll admit it, I booed him the whole game, especially after he paraded around afterward begging for even more attention than normal. I never boo – at least not individual players. I boo refs sometimes, and definitely coaches. But never players. Except for last Sunday night.

A funny thing happened though. Having seen him get the beat down he so deserved at Lambeau, beaten up, to blame for his team’s loss and literally booed off the field in his final appearance there, I felt a change take place – a corner was turned. I don’t hate him any more. He was no longer the enemy – he was now just a sad, pathetic old man. Undone by his own doing – both on the field (his arrogance and belief that he can do whatever he wants, that he doesn’t have to listen to coaches) and off (his arrogance, constant need for attention and philandering).

While I certainly wanted to see him and “his” team lose today, I actually felt some sympathy for him. Of course, had his jaw been broken sooner (assuming that’s what happened) and he’d actually been literally shut up – I think I might have softened earlier as well.
