Newly elected Republican lawmaker wants his govt.-subsidized health care NOW!

Why doesn’t this surprise me?

A conservative Maryland physician elected to Congress on an anti-Obamacare platform surprised fellow freshmen at a Monday orientation session by demanding to know why his government-subsidized health care plan from the government takes a month to kick in.

The lawmaker in question is Republican Andy Harris, who defeated incumbent Democratic Rep. Frank Kratovil in large part by attacking Kratovil for not committing to working to repeal health care reform.
