Russ Feingold gets endorsed by all of WI’s largest newspapers

Yesterday Sen. Russ Feingold received the endorsements of the Wisconsin State Journal, Appleton Post Crescent, Fond du Lac Reporter and Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter, giving Sen. Feingold a clean sweep of Wisconsin’s most widely-read newspapers. What’s more, Sen. Feingold has earned the vast majority of all the newspaper endorsements made by Wisconsin newspapers.

Here’s a map highlighting the endorsements Sen. Feingold has received and why he received them:

  1. While the editorial board of these papers may agree with Feingold extreme far left agenda the people of WIs have tired of his liberal policies and DNC lapdog attitude. We no longer what uncontrolled taxing and spend liberals stealing from our paychecks people like Russ are going to go the way of the dinosaur as more and more conservatives step forward to reclaim their country form these people.

    1. It’s worth noting that the Wisconsin State Journal endorsed Sen. Feingold and other noted liberals such as Scott Walker (Republican), Chad Lee (Republican), and Paul Ryan (Republican).

      Care to try again?

      1. Odd the name of the post was “Russ Feingold gets endorsed by all of WI’s largest newspapers” so I thought we were discussing Russ, did not know we could just change the thread to fit any despertae attempt to cover our tracks of failure.

        1. “While the editorial board of these papers may agree with Feingold extreme far left agenda…”

Those are your words. In noting that the WSJ endorsed Scott Walker, Chad Lee, and Paul Ryan, I was simply pointing out that the WSJ doesn’t necessarily agree with any “far left agenda.” If they did, they probably wouldn’t have endorsed far-right candidates in every other major election.

I didn’t change the thread at all; you’re just having a hard time figuring out how to wrap your brain around the fact that the Wisconsin State Journal endorsed three Republicans and Sen. Russ Feingold. Here’s a hint….perhaps it has to do with the fact that Ron Johnson has run a campaign devoid of any real, substantive ideas on what he’d do for Wisconsinites as our Senator.

  2. Nota i take it since the people of Wi are tired of “uncontrolled taxing and spend liberals” that means they are behind uncontrolled borrowing and spending….

  3. Geez Not, you got them talking points down cold. Not an original thought in ’em. Did you not also notice that at least four of those papers endorsed Walker for governor? Probably not. They all concluded that the best person to represent the interests of our fair state is Russ Feingold.

But, it seems it’s all for naught. It doesn’t appear enough people are going to read the newspapers tomorrow to make any difference. Which is sad.

  4. Maybe that is why rojo started his ads with “you’ve been reading the papers again.”
