Zach Brandon, deputy state Commerce secretary and a former member of the Madison City Council, filed paperwork to run for Dane County executive Monday.
Brandon, who called a news conference for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, promised “radical change in the way the county does business” and that promoting job growth would be his biggest priority.
The primary is scheduled for February 15th. With the recent bright red takeover of the state in November, I keep waiting for a right wing candidate(s) to declare. Stay tuned.
