Drinking Liberally – TONIGHT!

It’s that time of the month….time to get together to Drink Liberally:

Greetings one and all, and my apologies for not getting this message to you in a more timely manner. (I promise, it won’t happen again!)

It seems like just yesterday that we were gathering for our December meeting, and yet here we are coming up on the third Wednesday of this month. We’ll be meeting this month at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19th, 2011 at Sugar Maple, which is located at 411 E. Lincoln Avenue.

Joining us for January’s edition Drinking Liberally will be special guest JoAnne Kloppenburg, candidate for the Wisconsin State Supreme Court, so I hope you’ll join us to learn more about JoAnne and her campaign to become Wisconsin’s next Supreme Court justice.

See you on the 19th!

  1. Should you really be encouraging excessive drinking? Should someone follow your advice to drink liberally and was left with a large bar tab, a hangover, or got in trouble with the law, you would OWN that (as one commenter on this blog is fond of saying).

    1. I don’t recall encouraging excessive drinking; I’m encouraging individuals to come have a drink and talk politics (and whatever else) with like-minded folks.

However, thanks for your concern, and I look forward to you expressing the same concern when the righty blogs post their announcements about Drinking Right!

      1. Well drinking right just means being choosy with beverage selection, whereas drinking liberally means having a generous quantity.

Or does it have multiple meanings? But you never know, some misguided person out there might get the wrong idea.
