Watch Van Jones’ “Rebuild the Dream” livestream

Starting at 8:15 p.m. ET (7:15 a.m. Wisconsin time) today, Van Jones, the former Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, will livestream the launch of a massive economic campaign to help change the debate in Washington, DC. Called “Rebuild the Dream,” the campaign will work to help Americans find jobs, afford to go to college, retire with dignity, and secure a future for their children and their communities.

  1. I hope the GOP shuts down the govt. That to me means NO MORE CONGRESS. Then “WE THE PEOPLE” can vote in Nov. whether we believe Big Oil should be subsidized? Also if the taxes on the rich should be raised? Send them ALL packing and let us, WE the people decide.

    1. So you’re advocating for a complete and total shutdown of the federal government until November 2012?

      Sounds kind of extreme to me, and I’m betting that any shutdown of the government by the GOP will result in healthy Democratic majorities in both the House and the Senate.
