Scott Krug really REALLY hates not being able to use his taxpayer-funded email and office for his own political purposes

Republican State Rep. Scott Krug, who represents Wisconsin’s 72nd Assembly district, really really wants to be able to use his taxpayer-funded email and office to engage in political activities, if his own comments are to be believed. Earlier this week, Rep. Krug commented thusly in regards to individuals gathering signatures for a recall of Gov. Scott Walker:

“Let me get this straight I have to leave the Capitol grounds, not use my state email and take other steps not to mix politics with official business, but the Recall people don’t…???”

While Rep. Krug may think it would be just awesome to be able to use his taxpayer-funded email and office to engage in political activity (on taxpayers’ time, no less), I think the vast majority of Wisconsinites might have a bit of a problem with their tax dollars being wasted in such a manner.

As an interesting sidenote, shortly after contacting Rep. Krug for some clarification of his Facebook comments, he banned me from being able to see his Facebook profile. Apparently Rep. Krug isn’t just a hyper-partisan complainer; he’s a thin-skinned hyper-partisan complainer.

  1. If a recall petitioner works for a government entity, they can’t circulate or sign petitions while ‘on the clock’,so what’s the difference, Kruggie?

Ah, the self-absorbed whiny ‘logic’ of the average WisGOP. Hope Krug enjoys his fluky one term (3rd party spoiler votes are the only reason he beat Marlin Schneider).

    1. I hope the Dems can find a good candidate to knock Krug out of office, because he doesn’t strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer.
