Thermo Fisher cutting more jobs in Wisconsin

Back in December, Thermo Fisher announced it was closing its Two Rivers wood plant,” which made wooden laboratory furniture and employed about 200 people.

Fast forward to today, and Thermo Fisher has announced it is cutting nearly half of its workforce in Milwaukee, laying off 43 of 100 workers and moving their jobs to other Thermo Fisher locations outside Wisconsin.

Someone should ask the hundreds of Wisconsinites that Thermo Fisher has laid off over the past few months how well Scott Walker’s “job creation” efforts have worked out for them.
