The ever subtle Rick Santorum took a swipe at Mitt Romney in what sounded strangely like an endorsement of a second term for President Barack Obama
Rick Santorum …suggested it would be better to stick with President Obama over a candidate that might be “the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future” — a shot at chief rival Mitt Romney.
“If you’re going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future.”
Of course Mr. Santorum has spent considerable time walking it back ever since:
Over my dead body would I vote for Barack Obama,” he said when campaigning in Pineville, La.
But not before Mitt Romney got in a good jab of his own:
I am in this race to defeat Barack Obama and restore America’s promise. I was disappointed to hear that Rick Santorum would rather have Barack Obama as president than a Republican.
So who’s the etch a sketch candidate now?
Left-wing, right wing, no distinction within the puppet master’s money party. Point is moot, Ed.
If Santorum is running for VP or 2016 at this point, he’s doing a pretty poor job at it.
“So who’s the etch a sketch candidate now?”
Yep! Still Mitt Romney.

And he’s a comedian, too boot!
What a hoot!
Unintended rhymes. Gotta love ’em.
Anyway, KEEP up the good work, Mittens.
