Yet another advertiser pulls their advertising from Rush Limbaugh’s show

Earlier today ProFlowers announced it is pulling its advertising from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy. That decision makes ProFlowers the seventh company to pull its advertising from Limbaugh’s radio show.

Limbaugh’s contract with Clear Channel’s Premiere Radio Networks Inc. runs through 2016, and thus far that company has stood firmly behind Limbaugh, who offered a tepid apology to Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke after he called her a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

Rush Limbaugh is an idiot and a pig, and it’s unfortunate that Clear Channel continues to give a sexist drug addict a very powerful outlet for his vile and repulsive vitriol.
