Baldwin raises over $2 million from over 24,000 contributors last quarter

On Tuesday the campaign of far-right extremist Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mark Neumann announced it had raised $650,000 from over 9,000 contributions in the first quarter of 2012. Chip Englander, Neumann’s campaign manager, also said Neumann’s 17,000 supporters are more than anyone else in the Senate race.

However, a tweet from Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin contradicts Englander’s statement:this tidbit:

24,260 people in the past 3 months fueled our campaign. And we raised $2+ M this past quarter.

The last time I checked, 24,260 is a number greater than 17,000.

There you go again, with your elite Ivy League mathematics and European-style socialism. 😉

  2. Oh, those fancy euro-socialist propaganda mills, where they let the proles in and pay the teachers…well la-de-da! *snicker* (You know that some GOP spin doctor has tested those exact same words sometime.)

I do thank the public school system, as it existed when I attended from the mid-’60s to the late ’70s. I also thank my dad for spending a lot of his off-work time as a school board member, including a long stint as president.

I admit that I didn’t study very hard in school (got bored very easily) so it’s saying something about the system as it existed then that I’m still using so much of the things I learned way back then…or that I remember at all.
