52% of the people in the most progressive state in the Union said they’d rather let people die, suffer catastrophic health issues, lose homes, suffer starvation and deprivation, young people drop out of school and work in menial jobs, sell off public lands and threaten food and water quality than have the government do anything to solve this economic crisis. Sorry, but I’m bitter.
Fear is a strong motivator to vote against your self interest and frankly, I’m at the point where I say “fuck ’em.” They get what they deserve.
