Paul Ryan: Pittsburgh Steelers fan!

I know Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan is shamlessly pandering for votes, but no self-respecting fan of the Green Bay Packers would be caught dead waving a Pittsburgh Steelers “Terrible Towel.”

  1. Why are we surprised? Paulie hasn’t worked or lived full-time in Wisconsin since high school. I’m just shocked it wasn’t a Skins jersey, because that’s his real home team.

  2. You folks probably don’t remember Chicago-born Hillary Clinton’s “I’ve always been a Yankees fan” comment when she was running for office in New York. But this Chicago girl does, oh does she ever. Hillary had some Illinois people angry at her, but Ryan’s going to have the whole state out for blood. Like Tommy Thompson’s ‘stick it to ’em’ comment, did Ryan think no one would notice?

  3. Shame the blogger here didn’t check their facts right. That towel he is waving was a yellow towel with the Romney/Ryan logo on it. It was not a “terrible towel”. He also proudly brought up “Title Town”

    1. My bad, that was from a stop in August. I was at his stop today an knew he didn’t wave the terrible towel. Sorry to jump the gun
