OUR Milwaukee County: Next Listening Session with Supervisor Jursik

Ask and yea shall receive. Almost as soon as I asked about the next listening sessions, County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic contacted me about the next listening session. County Supervisor Pat Jursik will be holding a listening session this Thursday, April 4th, in South Milwaukee. Here’s are the details from her newsletter:

Public Meeting: Restructuring County Government

Question and answer

Public comments

And Supervisor Jursik’s statement about the session and her position on county board reform:

As your representative on the County Board, I have not yet taken a position with regard to this restructuring. In order to take a position, I am holding a public meeting to both inform and to obtain your input. Rep. Sanfelippo will discuss his bill and the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee, Sup. Theodore Lipscomb, will provide input from the local Board perspective. This format will ensure a good point/counterpoint discussion. It will also allow for your questions.

And I have been told that two more sessions will be announced on Monday. These sessions will be hosted on April 18th by Supervisors David Bowen and Russell Stamper!
