Common Cause in Wisconsin will be holding a free public forum on campaign finance and election reforms at UW-Whitewater in the University Center Summers Auditorium on Monday, April 22nd from 6:30-8PM.
Panelists will include:
State Rep. Andy Jorgensen (D-Fort Atkinson) Republican strategist and CC/WI Board Chair Bill Kraus, UW-Whitewater Communication Dept. Chair and former legislator Kim Hixson Whitewater-Area League of Women Voters Vice President Anita Loch Common Cause in WI Executive Director Jay Heck.
The event moderator will be UW-Whitewater Political Science Chair Susan Johnson.
Topics will include redistricting reform, voter photo ID, disclosure of outside campaign spending and more — and there will be a lengthy Q & A with the audience.
UW-Whitewater’s Political Science and Communication departments, College Republicans and College Democrats, the Whitewater-Area LWV, American Association of University Women-WI, and the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans are co-sponsoring the forum.
