Scott Walker: not a big believer in the ninth commandment

“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.”

That’s the ninth commandment, and it’s a pretty simply concept: don’t tell lies.

Apparently that’s one commandment Republican Gov. Scott Walker (the son of a preacher, no less) doesn’t believe in. After all, who can forget Walker promise as a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 that he’d “strip policy and pork projects from the state budget”? It didn’t take Walker long to break that promise, as the first biennial budget he signed into law as governor included dozens of nonfiscal policy items.

Given that the 2013-2015 budget that Republicans have sent Gov. Walker contains more than fifty policy items, we can look forward to Gov. Walker demonstrating once again that he’s a liar when it benefits his political ambitions.
